Mr. Lu, who resides in Los Angeles, was previously assigned to work in Taiwan. Although he knew it was a long-term assignment, he was unsure how long he would be staying.

 

Mr. Lu's closest colleague in Taiwan is a devoted cat lover who owns five cats and serves as a foster parent. Since Mr. Lu lived alone, he frequently visited his colleague’s home, which eventually led to him adopting two cats of his own.
